Did you know you can support Edgewood PTO with your Fred Meyer Purchases? All you have to do is link your rewards card. Follow the steps below and start giving without even thinking about it.

  1. Create a digital account (if you don’t have one). Crea una cuenta digital (si todavía no tienes una)

  2. Link your card to Harney Elementary PTO. We still haven’t updated the new school name on all of our accounts, but rest assured the funds are still making their way to our PTO account. Conecta tu tarjeta al Harney Elementary PTO. 3. Edgewood PTO earns.

Any transactions moving forward using the Shopper’s Card number associated with your digital account will be applied to the program, at no added cost to you. Fred Meyer donates annually to participating organizations based on your percentage of spending as it relates to the total spending associated with all participating Fred Meyer Community Rewards organizations.

Edgewood PTO gana. Cualquier transacción futura en la que uses el número de tu Tarjeta de Compras (Shopper’s Card) asociada a tu cuenta digital se aplicará al programa, sin ningún costo adicional para ti. Fred Meyer dona anualmente a las organizaciones participantes basándose en tu porcentaje de compra en relación con el gasto total de todas las organizaciones inscritas en el programa Fred Meyer Community Rewards.

PTO Funding Updates

With the new year off to a start, we thought we'd use this opportunity to list some of the PTO fundraising totals from the fall and how we've been allocating and distributing those funds.

  • Spent so far in the 2023-2024 school year:

    • 9 teacher reimbursements for $150 each, for a total of $1,350 for classroom supplies

    • $1,624 for fresh fruit for classroom snacks

    • $3,478 for headphones and storage for every classroom

    • $299 for pickleball supplies

    • $50 for snacks for after school clubs and sports

    • $2,780 for busses and field trips

    • $100 for Start with Hello week

    • $140 for Science Olympiad

    • $300 for Girls on the Run

    • $680 for staff appreciation

    • $608 for color ink

    • $102 for a first grade grant for pocket charts

    • 39 T-Shirts provided to Choir Club

23/24 Volunteers Needed

The PTO is looking for volunteers for our monthly engagement events and new board members.

Our volunteers and board members are parents, teachers, grandparents, staff - anyone with a dedication and commitment to making our students' experience at Harney an enriching one, as well as ensuring our Harney families are connected to their school and staff.

Current board positions needed include:

  • Auction committee members

  • Family Event Co-Coordinator
